While Chardonnay may be one of the most widely planted grape varieties on planet earth - nowhere else does it taste exactly like it does at 47°N, 3°E. Which is where Guillaume’s tiny tiny vineyard is located, and why he has called his young business after this exact spot.
I asked a French friend of mine for some contacts in Chablis, and he recommended a handful of small producers who ‘make amazing wine but haven’t a clue how to market themselves’.
Bingo... that’s where I come in. I tasted Guillaume’s wines and was hooked.
Guillaume’s a young guy (38) but has been growing grapes on his family estate since his early 20s. He always had the itch to turn his amazing organic fruit into his own wine, and he finally made the jump to do this in 2018. It means you’re tasting his first ever wines - how cool is that?!
Guillaume is a rising star in Chablis with big plans - he has planted another 2 hectares of Petit Chablis and eventually wants to build his own winery so he can grow his business.
With your support, we can help this dream become a reality for Guillaume.
