You get more colour, more fruitiness and softer tannins in the wine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a great and gentle introduction to Predappio Sangiovese. Chiara takes the grapes from three different vineyard sites, each parcel giving something different to the wine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe vineyards are farmed organically, so the fruit is healthy and buoyant. Everything is picked and sorted by hand - so only the best fruit makes it through.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe wine is aged in big oak casks, and then in concrete tanks before being bottled. Ensuring none of that tasty fruit gets overshadowed by the oak.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe nose is classically Italian - it’s savoury and leathery, with lovely bright red fruit and peppery notes.
