Wine Paris, the biggest wine fair in two years. Back to tasting hundreds of wines, catching up with old friends, making new ones.

And with strict orders to nail my hitlist of French wines, as requested by you.

I handed my list over to my network of trusty insiders, who planned out my schedule.

It made my job easy… back-to-back tastings with small, passionate winemakers, pouring brilliant wines and over-joyed to be back at in-person events.

I've made my choices and the wines are on their way, and I’ve selected 6 of my favourites so you can try them as soon as they land.

In the pack, you’ll get a bottle each of:

  • Chateau Leydet-Valentin Saint-Émilion Grand Cru 2019 - a polished, refined Saint-Émilion, made of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The vineyards are very close to Angelus, Figeac and Cheval Blanc, iconic wines that fetch several times the price of this
  • Domaine Hillaire Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2020 - the best (and most expensive Châteauneufs) are made of Grenache, just like this one… Olivier is an up-and-coming producer that flies under the radar, but the quality here is sensational
  • Clos Bonnefare Bergerac 2016 - filmmaker-turned-winemaker, Francois Jaurou, bought this small organic property in the Dordogne 10 years ago. This bottle was a chance discovery and we were blown away from the first sip
  • Clos Bonnefare Montravel 2018 - this is Francois’ reserve wine, made in tiny quantities from his best grapes and aged for a little longer in oak
  • Domaine de la Sarazinière Pouilly Fuissé ‘VII’ 2020 - a friend of Thibaud Baudin’s, making incredible Chardonnay and Gamay in Macon. This is an elegant, weighty white Burgundy that wayyy overdelivers for the price
  • Domaine Mélanie Pfister Berg Riesling 2020 - I studied in Strasbourg for a year and this wine brings me right back to that time… weekend trips to quaint villages enjoying hearty Alsace cuisine (what I told my mom I was up to anyway).

You just need to put €10 down now to secure your case, and the remaining €133.98 will be due when the wines get here (around 30th April).

The price includes delivery to your door, and because you’re a member, you save €98 on the case!
