This is a delicious white blend of Garnacha Blanca and Garnacha Gris, something you wouldn’t necessarily expect from the baking-hot centre of Spain.
It’s made in a real old-fashioned, artisanal way. The grapes are gently foot-stomped which gives a lovely soft texture to the wine. The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation in old French oak barrels, which increases the complexity of flavours. And finally it’s aged for 8 months in oak followed by 2 years in bottle, which is just the right amount of age that a wine like this needs.
The nose is aromatic and fragrant - where pears, white peach and florals leap out of the glass. On the palate it’s refreshing, creamy and elegant, with a lovely nuttiness streaking through it that fans of classic French wines will love.

Hadn't tried a garnacha blanc before so elected to give this one a go. Definitely worthwhile, I would say light but lingering she would say medium and interesting. Really enjoyed this midweek and ice cold.

I discovered a few bottles of this wine under the stairs, what a surprise!, lovely inviting nose, the palate is very smooth, decent complexity, and the finish is very good.
Easy drinking and great value.
