Domaine St Romble is a tiny but highly respected estate in Sancerre.
It’s situated on the famous Terres Blanches soils - which is white stone with clay and marl. It gives a wide spectrum of flavour to the Sauvignon grapes - everything from tropical, herbaceous to cassis flavours.
This is the Vieilles Vignes version of the regular Sancerre - which means it comes from older vines.
So these vines are 40-60 years old - they are less productive than younger, vigorous vines, but the fruit they produce tends to be more concentrated and complex in flavour. And you’ll taste extra concentration in this wine - it’s delicious.
Damien makes this wine in a very low intervention way, to maximise the expression of this special land.

We ship to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland only. €2 per case is added to all Northern Ireland orders to cover additional shipping costs. The point of sale occurs in the Republic of Ireland.
Our minimum order requirement is 6 bottles and we ship in multiples of 6’s. This can be 6 different bottles!
