Pouilly Fumé lives in the shadow of its more famous neighbour Sancerre. It’s a bit more intense and full-on than Sancerre, if that’s your thing (it is mine).
And Damien tells me Domaine des Berthiers is one of the most underrated estates in Pouilly Fumé.
It’s got amazing soils - 100% on silex (flintstone), the top soil in the region. This brings out the optimal flavour and expression of Sauvignon Blanc - you don’t get this anywhere else in the world.
Most of this wine is sold to high-end and Michelin-starred restaurants - they usually avoid retail but Damien thought WineSpark customers would be the perfect drinkers for this wine.

We ship to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland only. €2 per case is added to all Northern Ireland orders to cover additional shipping costs. The point of sale occurs in the Republic of Ireland.
Our minimum order requirement is 6 bottles and we ship in multiples of 6’s. This can be 6 different bottles!
