Marsannay is known to make ripe and dark Pinot Noirs, and this is an amazing example.
What makes it even more amazing is that it’s the “second wine” of his top 4 Marsannay sites. He makes small volumes of single vineyard wines from these sites, and he blends the rest together to make the Cuvée Saint Urbain.
These sites - Clos du Roy, Les Longeroies, Le Chapitre and Les Echezeaux - are earmarked for future Premier Cru status. So you’re getting Premier Cru fruit at an ordinary cru price.
Laurent loves this blend - each site gives balance and something special to the wine. He says it’s the perfect way to discover Marsannay.

We ship to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland only. €2 per case is added to all Northern Ireland orders to cover additional shipping costs. The point of sale occurs in the Republic of Ireland.
Our minimum order requirement is 6 bottles and we ship in multiples of 6’s. This can be 6 different bottles!
