This wine is a Pétillant Naturel, otherwise known as pét-nat!
I first tried it at La Querencia, the village restaurant in Villaneuva de Ávila, served at the end of a delicious Sunday lunch with Guzmán's glorious goat’s cheesecake.
It’s a rosé sparkling wine, made from the Garnacha grape.
The grapes come from high-altitude, old vineyards on granite soils in the Navatalgordo area, which is the perfect raw material for a bright and refreshing fizz like this.
Pét-nat is the ancient way of making sparkling wine (before Champagne!) - there’s just one fermentation instead of two, so you land up with a gently fizzy wine, not to be taken too seriously, bursting with character and freshness.
This would so good served in the garden with friends this summer along with tasty nibbles, or as a refreshing end to a good meal.

Our minimum order requirement is 6 bottles and we ship in multiples of 6’s. This can be 6 different bottles!
