Marchiori Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut 2023
Member Price €27.10
How do you know if a Prosecco will be any good? Look out for DOCG on the label.
DOCG is the top 10% of Prosecco, made in the hills rather than the flat plains.
And this is one of the region's finest examples, from the Marchiori family near Venice.
It's the only Prosecco that's hand-made from five ancient grape varieties, which is how Prosecco used to be made over 100 years ago.
The grapes come from steep hilly sites with a wonderful mixture of soils - it's a UNESCO World Heritage site and if you ever to visit, it won't disappoint.
This wine tastes as good as it looks, and you’ll find it right at home in Michelin-starred restaurants as the welcome wine.
You just can’t find a more artisanal, authentic Prosecco out there and this is exactly what WineSpark is all about.

Umberto Marchiori and his family are a rare breed indeed - a small Prosecco producer. In a region dominated by mass-produced generic-tasting fizz, Marchiori wines really stand out.
He went to university 20 years ago with a mutual friend of ours, Carlos Rodriguez, which is how we got in touch. Funny how it took a well-travelled Spaniard living in Rioja to find me the real deal of Prosecco.
If you’re living in the Prosecco region, you’d be more likely to have a shot of this at 9am instead of a flat white. This also goes amazingly with raw fish.
