If you’re looking for the perfect easy-drinking red, then you’ve come to the right place.

It’s a classic Languedoc blend of Grenache, Carignan and Syrah, made by Lidewij van Wilgen, a rising name in the Languedoc.

It’s from the Saint-Chinian region, which is traditionally known for pretty robust and rustic reds.

This wine couldn’t be any more different, and it’s all thanks to the quality of fruit in Lidewij’s beautiful organic vineyards. And her gentle winemaking which preserves the freshness of the wine.

Aromas of vibrant blueberry, fresh herbs and red fruits leap out of the glass - there’s Carignan from a special 70 year-old vineyard in the blend, which gives it this gorgeous nose.

And then on the palate it’s rich and elegant, with layers of juicy fruit and a long and fresh finish.

This is a family affair - Lidewij’s three daughters are actively involved with the business, working hard in the vineyards and cellar. The three hearts you’ll see on the label are Lidewij’s tribute to them.

Serve it lightly chilled and with literally anything grilled, for instant transportation to good times in the south of France!

Lovely wine, drinking well

Blackcurrant, blackberry, cherry, plum, a 'conventional' profile but as always with Winespark wines, great intensity, depth and finish

Back to its best

I loved La Dame 2020 when it first became available. Then I thought it took rather a dip - was there a La Dame 2021 that wasn't so good? Anyway, La Dame is definitely back to her winning ways now. In fact La Dame 2022 is even better than I remember the 2020 edition. Bursting with ripe fruity flavour - absolutely delicious.

So pleased the 2022 is hitting the spot for you, Francis!

Maurice (Killorglin)

We gave this to our colleagues in Beacon for Christmas. Great feedback from them and as always great service from the Winespark team

Thank you so much for the kind words, Maurice!

Yes!

Being a committed Stepp Pinot Noir fan I was persuaded by Winespark’s description of Terre des Dames to try La Dame and La Diva. That was it! La Dame has become our number one go to wine for serving with a wide variety of food, as well as for having a glass on its own. It tastes great, is not heavy and goes with meat as well as veggie dishes. I hope there’ll be more heavenly La Divas to come as well for special treats. I love them both.

La Dame and La Diva are rapidly becoming firm favourites with members! Watch this space for more treats from Terre Des Dames ;)

Good medium bodied red

Nice relaxed red - medium bodied. Quite versatile as it went well with a variety of foods (ranging from pizza to asian stir-fry).

Lovely to hear La Dame went down well! Thanks for the review, John :)

This is our favourite wine from Winespark so far

Not too heavy, fresh, yet full of character. Went well with a wide variety of foods- meat, fish, salads and good on its own

Lovely Languedoc wine

Had this with fillet steak and again with Duck confit. Went beautifully with both. Tried it also with Porksteak but it did not match. I loved it also with cold ham and salad but my wife did not! I have already purchased a second six and will definitely buy more.

Thank you Tim, I'm thrilled with this discovery. Cheers Eamon
