By popular demand, here are six of our biggest reds!

Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a big red from time to time. Whether it’s to pair with big food like steak, or sometimes you just want something to hit the spot and assault the senses.

So I’ve carefully picked out six reds that are big on flavour, but uncompromising on quality.

Here’s what you’ll get:

• Lorca Poético Malbec 2021 - a powerful red from Mendoza, aged for 12 months in French and American oak, and a further year and a half in bottle before release
• Cordero Hica Barbera D’Alba 2021 - an organic Barbera Superiore, never sold outside of Italy before WineSpark. It’s made from a vineyard called Bricco Gatti, which is well known in Alba for producing the best Barbera
• Cillar de Silos Ribera del Duero Crianza 2020 - a rich, polished Tempranillo which is the house wine in high-end restaurants across northern Spain

• La Mateo Rioja Tempranillo Vendimia 2020: Mateo's flagship wine - from 50 year old vines and spending 14 months in French and American oak, making it a classic mellow, fruity, smoky and powerful Rioja
• Tim Smith Bugalugs Shiraz 2022 - from premium Barossa fruit that would normally go into wine that fetches a far higher price, this is a classic Aussie Shiraz - ripe, bold and powerful, with plenty of sweet dark fruit and a savoury edge.
