This is a tiny-production, ultra-premium Pinot Noir made from a special 80 year-old vineyard between Gevrey Chambertin and Fixin.

The vineyard, called Croix Violette in Brochon, sits on a small plateau, with very fine soil. Laurent says it is a dream to work with every year, producing beautiful grapes with small berries and good concentration.

Laurents gives the grapes the VIP treatment in the winery, with 20 months ageing in new French oak. He bottles it with no fining and no filtration, to keep all the amazing flavours intact.

Due to limited supply, there's a limit of one bottle per customer on this wine.

Exceptionally good wine

Elegant and silky. Paired perfectly with the Christmas porchetta. My taste buds are fried with flu so I can only imagine how good it would taste if I was in the whole of my health.

Gorgeous.

I decanted it and had it with christmas dinner. Then I felt sad that I hadnt bought more. I don't know where else I'd find burgundy pinot this good for this price. I hope you get more in.
