Nigel tells me Margaret River Chardonnay is selling like hotcakes in Australia right now - this wine is already sold out at his cellar door.

Which is great news for you, because you’re getting to taste a beautiful Chardonnay with a bit of age from one of the world’s premier wine regions.

Nigel started out on his own back in 2007 with two barrels of Chardonnay in his garage - and his simple recipe hasn’t really changed since.

He picks premium fruit off a rocky vineyard in the famed Wilyabrup area, and lets the juice ferment naturally. The wine then stays in barrel for 12 months.

You land up with a ripe, rich and refined Chardonnay, full of classic stone fruits, great texture and a lovely nutty finish.

If you’re a Chardonnay nut (like me), or you like your Burgundy whites, this is the wine for you.

A very nice Chardonnay

Lovely wine to drink with/without food. We've had about 3-4 bottles over the last year and on each occasion we've found this WA Chardonnay better and better.

Thanks, Peter! Delighted to hear this Chardonnay keeps impressing.

Disappointed

Very disappointed with this wine . Bland almost tin like taste.' Ripe and refined ' it's not Luckily I opened a bottle as I intended serving the other two bottles to friends next weekend. Unfortunately I ordered 3 bottles..

Hi Siobhan, so sorry this bottle was a let down – I've just sent you an email!

A bit disappointed, not up to a good white burgundy.

I served this wine blind at lunch with my wine group.

Hi Mark,

I'm sorry that this one didn't hit the mark for you or your group!

I've issued you a gift card so you can have a different bottle on us in your next order, and if you'd like to arrange and collection and refund for the remaining bottles please drop us an email.

Cheers Eamon

Creamy smooth

Fab! Really enjoyed this very easily drinkable creamy Chardonnay. No negatives only positive comments. Definitely on the "Must re-Order some" list. Yes would recommend.

Exceptional Chardonnay

I started with this with buttery pan fried prawns, pure bliss. I like its subtle oak, its not in your face butteriness of previous Chars I have drank. But dont shoot me, the bottle was finished off next day with Irish stew, and bhaoy was that a match, fabulous. A great combination.

Great stuff John, and I'm all for trying your day two food match! Cheers Eamon

Fabulous concentration of fruit with creamy oatmeal layers from deft use of oak.

Margaret River at its best.

Burgundy quality wine

Sipped this one after Christmas, balanced, structured and up there with a good Chablis, clever use of oak.

This is a lovely modern style Chardonnay from Western Australia - we had it with a prawn and smoked salmon starter on Christmas Day and everyone loved it..
