What 12 wines could possibly give you the ideal introduction to WineSpark? I had to think long and hard about this one! 

I'm glad to say I've come up with a collection of amazing wines that proudly represents the ethos of WineSpark and its winemakers.

Not forgetting the 10 years of sweat and tears it’s taken to get here :)

1. Meltwater Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2022 - Think the bright tropical fruit of New Zealand, with the texture and minerality of a great Sancerre
   
2. Pequenas Parcelas Gran Malbec 2015 - a powerful red aged in 100% new French oak for 18 months, from an immaculate vineyard high up in the Uco Valley in Mendoza
3. Mas Calamiac Minervois 2020 - the perfect WineSpark red... dark, savoury and oh-so drinkable. It’s organic and biodynamic too
4. Carinus Family Chenin Blanc 2022 - a rich yet easy-drinking white from Swartland, South Africa from one of the country’s best growers
   
5. Balma Brut Nature Reserva 2016 - forget Cava... the future of Spanish fizz is Penedes. One taste of this and you’ll see why
   
6. Luis Louro Alento Reserva 2019 - from Alentejo in Portugal, for me the best value wine region around. Smooth and sumptuous, this is perfect for cosying up by the fire
7. Nomades Aristea Falanghina 2022 - a ripe and fresh style of white, with loads of apple, peach and pear flavours going on. One sip and you're transported to the magic of the Amalfi Coast
   
8. Stepp Pinot Noir Buntsandstein 2021 - German Pinot is making serious waves in the wine industry and here is one of Germany’s best winemakers at the top of his game
   
9. Cillar de Silos Ribera del Duero Crianza 2020 - a rich, polished Tempranillo which is the house wine in high-end restaurants across northern Spain
   
10. Domaine Saint Andrieu Provence Rosé 2021 - an organic, bee-friendly rosé from a seriously underrated Provence estate
11. La Mateo Rioja Tempranillo Vendimia 2021: Mateo's flagship wine - from 50 year old vines and spending 14 months in French and American oak, making it a classic mellow, fruity, smoky and powerful Rioja
